Dr. William Butske specializes in algebraic geometry and number theory. His research interests include endomorphism rings of Jacobians and Galois representations. Winner of the 2019 Dean's Outstanding Teacher Award, Dr. Butske has helped organize the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Undergraduate Mathematics Conference, which spotlights and celebrates the work of undergraduate mathematicians, and assisted the department in hosting the annual ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ High School Mathematics Competition.
